1. Amphiphilic polymer hydrophobic monomer. For example, it is used in the synthesis of amphiphilic polymers, polymer emulsifiers, polymer stabilizers, and self-emulsifying leather waterproofing agents. It can be copolymerized with hydrophilic monomers such as acrylic acid, maleic acid and acrylamide to form amphiphilic polymers.
2. Hydrophobic monomer for polymeric waterproofing materials. For example, it is used in the synthesis of three-proof finishing agents for fabrics and the synthesis of fluorine-free waterproofing agents for fabrics.
3. Hydrophobic monomer for hydrophobically associative polymeric thickeners. In a large amount of hydrophilic monomers (such as acrylamide), a small amount of octadecyl acrylate is added for copolymerization. In the polymer aqueous solution, the octadecyl side chains will associate with each other, forming reversibly changing hydrophobic association cross-links.
4. Synthetic monomer for crude pour point depressants. It can be used as the main monomer to polymerize to obtain polymer crude oil pour point depressant.
5. Other functional monomers for polymer synthesis.
6. The glass transition temperature of stearyl acrylate homopolymer is higher. However, in common applications, the molecular weight of the polymer is relatively small, resulting in a lower
polymer melting point.
This product is packed in 100kg or 160Kg per plastic drum. It is recommended to store in a Category C warehouse, or in a ventilated and cool place, and the storage temperature should not
exceed 30°C. Avoid storage with strong acids, strong bases and oxidants. The goods are not classified as dangerous goods and can be transported according to the conditions of ordinary goods.
